Welcome to Weathermans Weatherpages.
1.1.2007 begun a hobby- and humorbased Paimio Kyysilä weatherstation activity. (Paimio is between Turku and Salo).
Measuring equipment used by the "Weatherman" is a WS-3207 weatherstation, that includes an external measuring unit and an internal central unit. The external unit updates the measurements every 2 minutes to the central unit, which means they are available in real-time on our weatherpages.
The weather information we supply is based on a very local area.
Over 30 minutes old information on our pages means that the computer or the transmission software is offline, or the "Weatherman" is on a vacation.
In case of a snowfall we do not regrettably inform about the amount of snow.
The arrow in front of relative- and absolute airpressure tells of the direction of the latest change. A down-arrow informs of decreased airpressure and an up-arrow informs of increased airpressure.
The wind values aren't necessarily correct, due to terrain-conditions.
The thermometer is placed so that the morning sun warms it. This means that the temperature reported might not be accurate in the morning.
